Focus and Scope
STUDIA ISLAMIKA (ISSN 0215-0492) is an international journal published by the Center for the Study of Islam and Society (PPIM), Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University of Jakarta, Indonesia (STT DEPPEN No. 129/SK/DITJEN/PPG/STT/1976).
Focus
The journal aims to provide readers with a deeper understanding of the history and contemporary developments of Islam in Indonesia and Southeast Asia through the publication of scholarly articles and book reviews.
Scope
STUDIA ISLAMIKA specializes in Indonesian Islamic studies in particular, and Southeast Asian Islamic studies in general. The journal is intended to communicate original research and current scholarly discussions on the subject. Contributions from scholars in related disciplines are warmly welcomed.
Peer Review Process
STUDIA ISLAMIKA is a bilingual (English and Arabic), peer-reviewed journal that has been published three times a year since 1994. Each submitted manuscript undergoes a double-blind peer review process to ensure academic quality and integrity.
